What's Included in these plans?

  • Each plan set is drawn at 1/4" = 1' scale and includes the following drawings:
  • Artist Rendering: An artist's drawing of the home, usually viewed from the front and general construction notes.
  • Elevations: Shows the front, sides, and rear, including exterior materials, trim sizes, roof pitches, etc.
  • Main Floor Plan: Shows placement and dimensions of walls, doors & windows. Includes the location of appliances, plumbing fixtures, beams, ceiling heights, etc.
  • Second Floor Plan (if any) Shows the second floor in the same detail as the main floor. Includes second floor framing and details.
  • Foundation Plan: Shows the location of all concrete footings, floor beams, first floor framing, and foundation details. If there is a basement, a basement plan is included which shows all basement details.
  • Roof Framing: Shows roof outlines, conventional framing/trusses, beams, roof framing details, etc. Details specific details such as fireplaces, stairways, decks, etc. Details are drawn at 1/2" = 1' scale and appear as needed throughout the prints.
  • Section: Shows a cross-section of the home. Shows support members, exterior and interior materials, insulation, and foundation.
  • Electrical Plan: A schematic layout of all lighting, switches and electrical outlets.
  • *Wall framing and foundation options vary please call or email to confirm framing or foundation options of the plan you are interested in.
  • *Single Build License is included with plan packages of 5 sets or more.

What's not included:  House plans do not typically include mechanical, plumbing, or truss drawings. Additionally, some jurisdictions require a local architect or engineer to make adjustments to the plan to comply with local building codes. About This Plan

Log framing, expansive window views and spectacular outdoor space are featured highlights of this vacation home where mountain views or a lakefront setting are a requirement to enjoy the vista views provided. Approximately 1,987 square feet of living space is incorporated into the home where there are three bedrooms and two plus baths. A front covered porch measuring 24’x8’ offers entrance into the home where an open layout is revealed. This open layout is comprised of an enormous great room where warmth is provided from the wood burning fireplace and panoramic window views bring the outdoors in. The adjacent vaulted kitchen houses a center island with snack/breakfast bar, an oversized walk-in pantry and up-to-date modern amenities. There is an enclosed laundry room at one end of the kitchen and rear deck access at the other end. The open deck spans the width of the home and is fashioned in a triangular shape allowing for extensive entertaining and family relaxing activities. The main level master suite is situated on the opposite side of the home for privacy and provides private access to the multi-functional deck. The master bedroom is vaulted, has an enormous walk-in closet and an en suite bath featuring dual vanities and a tub/shower combination. A guest powder room and second level staircase complete the lower level of the home. The second story landing expands to include an open loft that overlooks the main living areas below. Flanking the extended loft are two spacious bedrooms with generous closet space and there is a shared hall bath with vanity space, a toilet area and a shower as well as a hall linen closet.
